Back then, as part of the preliminary round of the Winner Cup, Hapoel traveled north and secured a 90-80 victory over the home team. Tonight (Saturday), Hapoel returns to Gan Ner to face the locals at 8:10 PM as part of the fifth round of the league. The game will be broadcast live on Sport 5 Plus.

Despite taking time to find their rhythm, the team in red led and controlled almost every stage of the game, even reaching a peak lead of over 20 points. On the other hand, the hosts from Gilboa opened their league season with a win but have since suffered three consecutive losses, the most recent being last week against Nes Ziona. The standout player for the hosts is guard Ismael El-Amin, who averages 19.3 points and 3.3 assists per game.
