Hapoel will kick off their home games for the season by hosting Hapoel Tel Aviv. A special ceremony to commemorate the events of October 7th and to inaugurate a memorial wall will take place before the game.

With a 2-1 record in the EuroCup and a win in the league opener, Hapoel will continue their journey in the local arena tonight as they host Hapoel Tel Aviv at 20:50 (broadcast on Sport 5) at Pais Arena, marking their first home game of the season. Before the game, at 20:40, a special ceremony will take place to commemorate the events of October 7th and to inaugurate a special memorial wall in honor of Hapoel's fallen players throughout the years. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the ceremony.

Hapoel arrives following a 89-74 win over Hamburg last Wednesday in Smolkov. They started strong with an 8-0 run, increased their lead deep into the half, and with a solid defensive effort in the third quarter, prevented their opponent from making a comeback. In the league opener, Hapoel faced a very stubborn opponent in Ness Ziona. It took Hapoel some time to find their offensive rhythm, even falling into a double-digit deficit early, but then Jared Harper led a 12-0 run that turned the game around. Hapoel managed to maintain their lead until the end, with Harper finishing the game with 20 points and shooting 100% from the free-throw line (8/8).

On the other hand, Hapoel Tel Aviv rivals also come off a win in the European arena, defeating Turkish team Besiktas in an away game held in Belgrade. Although the Reds faced resistance from the Turkish team in the first quarter, Hapoel Tel Aviv controlled the game for most of its duration, with Patrick Beverley and Jonathan Motley leading the scoring.
