After officially opening the season last week, Hapoel will continue its European campaign tonight (Tuesday) as they visit Panev??ys to face the local Lietkabelis at 19:00. The match will be broadcast live on the "Israel Hayom" smart apps on all devices.

Jared Harper stood out with 27 points
Both teams come into the game after losing in their opening round. Hapoel fell to the Spanish team Valencia 80-64 in a home game in Bulgaria, while the Lithuanians arrive after a 72-66 away loss to Turkish Telekom. In last week’s match against Valencia, Hapoel’s Jared Harper was the standout player, scoring 27 points against his former team and drawing 8 fouls (the most in the game). In the matchup between Lietkabelis and Telekom, the leading scorer for the losing team was Vytas Lipkevicius, who scored 12 points with excellent percentages, but it wasn't enough for the Lithuanians.
The last time the teams met was in 2018 during the 9th round of the FIBA Champions League, when the Reds arrived after two losses and exploded with an impressive offensive display, scoring 56 points in the first half and defeating the Lithuanians 97-70. The top scorer in that game was James Feldeine with 19 points, while Tamir Blatt and TaShawn Thomas each contributed 16 points. The teams also faced each other earlier that season at the Pais Arena in the 2nd round, where Chris Johnson scored in double digits, helping the Reds win against Lietkabelis 81-67.
