The EuroCup group stage draw for the 2024-2025 season was completed today (Friday) in Barcelona. Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem was drawn into Group B along with the following teams:
Valencia (Spain)
Bourg (France)
Turk Telekom Ankara (Turkey)
Reyer Venezia (Italy)
Aris Thessaloniki (Greece)
Lietkabelis (Lithuania)
Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia)
Hamburg (Germany)
Cluj (Romania)
Here is the competition format:
20 teams are divided into two groups of 10 teams each. Each group plays in a home-and-away format, with a total of 18 games per team. The top two teams will advance directly to the quarter-finals, and the teams finishing in positions 3-6 will qualify for the round of 16, which will be played as a single knockout game with home-court advantage.
The quarter-finals will also be played as a single knockout game, while the semi-finals and finals will be played in a best-of-three format.
