Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem continues to implement its long-term strategic plan in player development and nurturing young talents. The Club signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hapoel Lev HaSharon. At the center of this cooperation is the connection between the youth department of Lev HaSharon and Hapoel Jerusalem, and the creation of a joint development program aimed at growing players who will play for Hapoel in the future. This cooperation joins the existing connection between Hapoel and A.S. Ramat Hasharon.

Hapoel Lev HaSharon is a growing club with a pool of approximately 1,000 players in the basketball school and youth age groups. The club boasts some of the best professionals Israeli basketball has to offer: Roi Hagai is the general manager of the youth department, alongside Avi Ben Shimol and Nitzan Hanochi in the coaching and development team of the youth department and the senior team in the national league.

Hapoel's general manager, Dan Shamir, said after the agreement was signed: "We are happy to join a club experiencing great growth under the leadership of Roi, Avi, and Nitzan. Our main goal is to create a unique development path that will pave the way for young players from the youth departments, through the lower leagues, and hopefully to the level and quality that Hapoel Jerusalem seeks. This connection allows us to continue establishing ourselves as a club that wants to be a home and a warm address for talents from the Sharon and Central regions, alongside our desire to strengthen ties with Hapoel Jerusalem's youth department and grow Jerusalemite players who will fit the level and needs."

Roi Hagai, the general manager of Lev HaSharon, said: "I would like to thank Matan Adelson, Gal Mekel, Dan Shamir, and Hapoel Jerusalem for the opportunity to collaborate with a top-tier European club. Our main goal is to provide athletes with the best tools to realize their potential. This collaboration will give Lev HaSharon players the horizon to fulfill themselves and reach as far as possible. We are all excited and passionate to embark on this special journey."
