Social and Digital Media Manager
We are seeking a Social and Digital Media Manager with a passion for crafting captivating content along with experience in shooting, producing, and editing videos. This person should also possess strong copywriting ability and a deep understanding of pop culture and sports. While the primary platforms for this creative output will be Hapoel social media channels, website and mobile app, we are looking for an individual whose innovative concepts extend beyond the boundaries of our social platforms.
The successful candidate will be attuned to the cultural currents in the sports industry and social audiences worldwide, committed to strengthening connections with existing fans, and adept at attracting new fans through engaging content. Above all, we are seeking an enthusiastic collaborator who aligns with our marketing and digital team's culture.
This dynamic, fast-paced role necessitates versatility and the capacity to contribute to content creation through strategic planning and real-time execution.
This position is a full-time job that requires working at the Jerusalem office and arena at least 4 days a week and attending all home games.
Responsibilities
- Building a high-level social media strategy that hits business goals and creating content strategies for each specific platform.
- Create, manage, and execute the Hapoel content calendar across all platforms overseeing the process from ideation to execution.
- Use social media scheduling and analytic tools to schedule content, and track data to optimize content and drive sales. Utilize content performance analytics to gain insights into Hapoel audiences and their preferences, enabling the creation of impactful content.
- Collaborate with Hapoel's marketing team to achieve objectives, delivering authentic, measurable content that resonates with our fan bases.
- During real-time events, including games, this individual will be responsible for writing engaging social copy and creating compelling multimedia content.
- Managing the different media platforms effectively according to each platform's unique attributes, voice, tone and sentiment to maximize fan engagement.
- Craft inspiring and entertaining content and initiatives that delight Hapoel fans, ultimately yielding tangible business outcomes.
- Elevate creative thinking across the team by contributing innovative concepts spanning video, writing, and photography. Infuse the team with creative, forward-thinking ideas, and efficiently manage deliverables.
- Foster personalized interactions with Hapoel fans via the team's social media accounts.
- Helping oversee any influencer marketing on social media.
Qualifications
- Minimum experience of 3 years in fast-paced, high-demand digital and social media environments.
- Experience in professional sports, media or entertainment environments is highly desired.
- Extensive experience in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn, in addition to being up to date with all platforms trends and knowing how to create platform-specific content.
- Results-oriented mindset focused on generating incremental sales and value for partners.
- Proficiency in digital and social media platforms, along with expertise in data analysis and measurement.
- Versatile content creation skills, including adeptness in copywriting, videography, video production, and video editing.
- Familiarity with creating and planning paid social media strategies is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and departments to foster consensus and drive positive outcomes.
