Green was born in Herzliya, Israel. Grew up in the youth system of Bnei Herzliya, and won the Youth League title with its youth team. He won silver medal with Israel's Under-20 national team in the 2003 FIBA Under-20 Championship.

In 2000 Green signed with Maccabi Ironi Ra'anana. A year later he returned to Bney Herzliya. In 2002 he signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv and led the team to the 2004 Israeli Super League Finals and to the 2004 Europe League Final Four.

In 2004 Green was invited to play with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Summer League. Though he made a positive impression, Green returned to Israel and signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv. In his first year with the team he won the Super League Championship, the State Cup and the Euroleague Championship.

In 2007 Green played for the Israeli national team in the FIBA EuroBasket. He was the tournament's rebounding leader. Green has competed in seven European Championships. He is the Israeli national team's 6th all-time leading scorer and its 2nd most capped player.

In 2007 Green signed with CSK VSS Samara of the Russian League. He led the team to the Eurocup Quarter-Final and attended the Eurocup All-Star game.

In 2008 Green returned to Maccabi Tel Aviv. After three years he signed with the Italian team Bancatercas Teramo. In 2011 he returned to Israel and signed with Hapoel Gilboa Galil.

In 2013 Green signed a one-year contract with Hapoel Jerusalem.
