Dyson also played in nine games with New Orleans Hornets of the NBA in the 2011/12 season. The American guard spent the last three seasons with three different teams in Italy. In 2013, he signed with Enel Brindisi and finished fourth in league scoring with 17.1 PPG. Italian Euroleague team Dinamo Sassari signed him the following year and Dyson averaged 10.2 PPG in 10 Euroleague games. With Dyson, Dinamo Sassari won the Italian championship and the Italian Cup. Dyson then signed with Auxilium CUS for the 2015/16 season, averaging 15.8 PPG in the 18 games he played. Dyson was selected to the United States men's national basketball team for the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, during which he averaged 11.4 PPG, including a team high 19 against Uruguay. The team, composed entirely of non-NBA players due to the 2011 NBA lockout, finished with the bronze medal. In July 2016 he signed a two year contract with Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem.

Dyson continued to show his athleticism and shooting range in Hapoel. Dyson was one of Hapoel's most important players during the playoffs and in the championship game he was unstoppable with 30 points which gave him the MVP award.
