Amar'e Stoudemire a 14-year NBA veteran. Among his career achievements, he was voted rookie of the year in 2003, was selected to six All Star teams, five Second All NBA team and one First All NBA team. Over his career, he played for four teams and averaged 18.8 PPG and 7.5 RPG. Stoudemire was chosen with the ninth pick in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns, reaching the Western Conference Finals twice in his eight years with the team. Stoudemire is fourth in Suns franchise history in scoring average (21.4ppg), third in rebounds, free throws made and attempted, and fifth in blocked shots. In July 2010, Stoudemire signed with the New York Knicks, leading the team to the playoffs for the first time since 2004. The Knicks and Stoudemire made the playoffs three years in a row but never managed to go further than the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Stoudemire then signed with Dallas Mavericks in February 2015, appearing in 23 games for the Mavericks, while averaging 10.8 PPG and 3.7 RPG. Stoudemire played with the Miami Heat in his final season in the NBA. The team reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals, with Stoudemire averaging 5.8 PPG and 4.3 RPG in 52 games. Stoudemire represented Team USA in the 2004 Olympics, helping the team win a bronze medal. On August the 1st 2016, Stoudemire signed a two year contract with Hapoel, making him the most significant player to make the move from the NBA to Europe since Dominique Wilkins moved from the Boston Celtics to Greek powerhouse Panathinaikos in 1995.
