Hapoel Shines in the Community

Hapoel honors 18 year old boy battling cancer.

During Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem's game VS Ashdod - the team honored Yitzchak Cohen, who is a 18 year old Mivaseret Tzion resident battling cancer. Yitzchak loves basketball and is a great fan of Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem. In an emotional ceremony, Yitzachak was brought out to half court in between the third and fourth quarter of the game and received a standing ovation from the crowd. He also received a gift certificate to Aroma cafe, a 200 NIS voucher to Tzomet Tsfarim book store, sunglasses from Dr. Lovinger, an autographed ball, a team scarf and hat, and a piece of jewelry from Yvel jewelers. These gifts were presented to Yitzchak by:
