During Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem's impressive win over Holon 89-59, the team honored Eliav Zohar, who is a 12 year old Jerusalem resident battling cancer. Eliav loves basketball and is a great fan of Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem. In an emotional ceremony, Eliav was brought out to half court in between the third and fourth quarter of the game and received a standing ovation from the crowd. He also received a gift certificate to Aroma cafe, a 200 NIS voucher to Tzomet Tsfarim book store, sunglasses from Dr. Lovinger, an autographed ball, a team scarf and hat, and a piece of jewelry from Yvel jewelers. These gifts were presented to Eliav by former head of Israel's Shabaq secret service agency, Mr. Carmi Gilon; Mr.Avi Yodavitch; and the family of David Tzukran, a dear fan who recently passed away.
