Tywain McKee is 29 years old and was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the all-time leading scorer at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland where he played college basketball. After college, McKee began his professional career playing in Australia and Russia. More recently, in 2013, McKee played for Unics Kazan of the Eurocup where he averaged 7.3 points and 1.9 assists per game while shooting over 41 percent from three-point range. McKee began the 2014 season playing in Germany where he averaged 12.3 points, dished out 3.3 assists and grabbed 4.2 rebounds per game. Due to personal reasons, he had to leave his team after only eight games. Hapoel head coach, Danny Franco, is excited to welcome McKee to Jerusalem. “With Timor and Kitchen out due to injuries, we hope that McKee’s experience, play making skills and competitiveness will have an immediate positive impact on our back court,” said Franco.
