Hapoel got off to a great start led by Smith's power dunk and three pointer. The Reds  executed well on both sides of the court and finished the first quarter leading 24-17.

Timor and Wright were outstanding in the second quarter and Hapoel went into halftime leading 43-37. In the second half, Hapoel turned up their defense forcing Ashdod to scramble to find uncontested shots. Tony Gaffney brought the crowd to their feet when he blocked two consecutive shots in the same possession. Hapoel went on to win the game by the final score of 93-71. The last time Hapoel won their first seven Winner League games was during the 1998/1999 season. Hapoel hopes to keep the momentum going as they play host to Banvit on Wednesday.
