Malik Hairston Joins Hapoel

Malik Hairston (1.98, 29) joins Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem until the end of the year

Malik Hairston joined Hapoel "Bank Yahav" Jerusalem on January 2nd and he will wear the number 0 jersey. The Detroit-native spent the last season in Greece playing for AEK Athens where he averaged 11.8 points in 10 Eurocup games. Before that, Hairston played in the Euroleague with Galatasary, Armani Milano and Siena, where Hapoel current head coach Simone Pianigiani coached him. Selected in the 2nd round of the 2008 draft by the Phoenix Suns out of the University of Oregon, the American forward had a short experience in the NBA playing for the San Antonio Spurs during the 2009-2010 season.
